Detailed engineering project for the construction of 2 Catamarans

Project Objective

The project objective was to develop detailed engineering specifications and designs for the construction of 2 aluminum naval catamarans. This included addressing structural, piping, and finishing components such as carpentry, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Construction of 2 Aluminum Catamarans in Venezuela

Project Objective

The objective of this project was to construct two passenger catamaran vessels made of naval aluminum to serve the Cumana-Araya water route. This initiative aimed to replace the use of artisanal boats, enhancing safety, speed, and comfort for commuters in Cumana and Araya, Sucre State, Venezuela. The project was envisioned to address the transportation challenges faced by the local population, ensuring a reliable and efficient service.

Implementation of the Last Planner System with Agile Methodologies in Wilson Sons shipyards

Project Objective

Our project successfully revolutionized the production process by significantly boosting productivity and reducing man-hours (HH) through innovative production control and effective conflict management. We didn’t just optimize operations; we empowered frontline workers, instilling a strong sense of ownership and responsibility. Enhanced communication led to swift conflict resolution, creating a more predictable and efficient production environment.

Project Objective

This project involved the comprehensive engineering and construction of a maritime operations barge designed to meet specific client needs, including inspection maneuvers, buoy maintenance, and cargo transport. Using agile methodologies, the project was divided into six sprints covering conceptual, preliminary, contract, and production design phases, along with supplementary calculations and specifications. The successful completion of the vessel, aligned with engineering specifications, resulted in a highly satisfied client. Key responsibilities included project management, scope management, change management, and stakeholder engagement.
